A Daily Walk With DietPower
Walking is the best exercise for weight loss. And the things you see!

Sheri and Seamus were out in their yard when I came by today. I've known Sheri and her husband, John, and their two daughters, for years, because they belong to our church—but I had never met Seamus before.
I might have met Seamus if I'd attended the Blessing of the Animals at the church several years ago. (I must ask Sheri if Seamus was there.) My wife, Mary, attended the service, along with Wally, our miniature Schnauzer. She reported that all of the animals were well behaved except for Wally, who couldn't resist charging and barking at the other dogs—and the cats and the birds and the iguana named Iggy. Wally got blessed, along with all the others, but this didn't seem to change his demeanor.
Seamus looks blessed, don't you think? Maybe it's the white halo.
About this page: Precisely at noon each day, I step out of my office for a 3.5-mile walk around my Connecticut neighborhood. I carry a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX5 pocket camera with a Leica 10x optical zoom lens. My object is to make an interesting photograph of at least one thing that is different that day. I post the results here, hoping they will inspire you and your friends to walk, too. —Terry Dunkle, DietPower founder and CEO.
