A Daily Walk With DietPower

Walking is the best exercise for weight loss. And the things you see!

(Left to right) Charlie, Irene, Mia, and Chuck were installing a deer fence around their freshly tilled vegetable garden when I came by this afternoon. Chuck was taking a day off from his job as an Audi sales manager, and the kids were enjoying an extended Memorial Day weekend thanks to a "professional development day" for teachers. Mia recently finished her teaching degree at Western Connecticut State University and is looking for a full-time position (she substitutes in Danbury schools). Charlie plays basketball and lacrosse, and both children love music, theater, and dance. .

About this page: Precisely at noon each day, I step out of my office for a 3.5-mile walk around my Connecticut neighborhood. I carry a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX5 pocket camera with a Leica 10x optical zoom lens. My object is to make an interesting photograph of at least one thing that is different that day.
