A Daily Walk With DietPower

Walking is the best exercise for weight loss. And the things you see!

Peter Mueller, who lives on Middle River Road here in Danbury, Connecticut, is one of many neighbors on my walking route who are temporarily out of a job, thanks to the slump in the U.S. economy. He's worked for four major publishing companies in the New York City area as both a senior financial analyst and a manufacturing operations manager—which, ironically, makes him just the guy you need to help you find ways to trim your company's operating costs when expenses outrun revenues. About this page: Precisely at noon each day, I step out of my office for a 3.5-mile walk around my Connecticut neighborhood. I carry a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX5 pocket camera with a Leica 10x optical zoom lens. My object is to make an interesting photograph of at least one thing that is different that day.
